At Banty, our mission has always been to connect people virtually, whether it's enabling clinicians to provide care to patients or delivering engaging online events. Today, we want to share an important update about our virtual clinic platform.
After careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to discontinue the Banty Virtual Clinic platform effective April 30, 2023. We are incredibly proud of the platform we built and the unique features we developed to facilitate seamless virtual visits. However, despite our best efforts, we have been unable to achieve the level of adoption necessary to make the platform financially sustainable for continued operations.
We want to emphasize that this decision in no way affects our thriving virtual events business, including our Continuing Medical Education (CME) offerings. We remain fully committed to providing the same high-quality, engaging virtual event experiences that our customers and participants have come to expect from Banty.
Over the past few years, we have had the privilege of hosting numerous successful virtual events, trade shows, annual general meetings, and CME programs. The positive feedback we have received from event organizers and attendees alike has been truly gratifying. We look forward to continuing to innovate and enhance our virtual event platform to deliver even more value.
For our existing virtual clinic customers, please be assured that we are working closely with each clinic to ensure a smooth transition to alternative platforms and minimize any disruption to operations. Our team is committed to providing the necessary support and resources to make this process as seamless as possible.
As we close this chapter with our virtual clinic platform, we remain deeply grateful for the partnerships we have formed and the opportunity to have played a role in enabling virtual care delivery. We are more passionate than ever about the power of virtual technologies to connect people and foster meaningful interactions, and we will carry this belief forward as we focus our efforts on delivering best-in-class virtual events.
