Banty is loaded with all the features you'd expect (and some you didn't) like screen sharing, polling, YouTube sharing, recording, and the ability to add up to 16 participants!
All Banty calls are encrypted with an industry-standrd security protocol called transport-layer security (TLS). It’s what prevents others from listening in on (or watching) your private conversations.
All participants in a Banty video call are explicitly visible in the video call interface: when you only see yourself, you can be assured that no one else is listening, and any persons shown in the interface are the only others who are able to hear or see what’s happening in your call. During call recordings, the interface is updated to clearly indicate to all participants that the call is being recorded.
If you have any questions related to call privacy, our support team would be happy to respond to your request at help@banty.com.
As Banty only stores encrypted transmissions temporarily for buffering, any protected health information (PHI) passed through Banty is transient in nature. Banty cannot access any such PHI and cannot disclose it to you (or anyone else). We keep your transmissions secure.
